PRP

In recent years, one of the most promising methods of aesthetic and regenerative dermatology is natural skin recovery – prevention of defects, signs of aging, hair growth recovery and acne scars through platelet-rich plasma injections (PRP). The PRP injections enforces the cells in the deepest layers of the derma to synthesize Type I collagen, elaine and hyaluronic acid, which provides skin smoothness and flexibility.

Platelets play an important role in the body’s operation and tissue recovery. By deriving growth factors from platelets, they can stimulate the division and growth of damaged cells. Increased blood platelet levels contribute to tissue recovery and wound healing. The therapeutic effect occurs when blood platelet concentrations rise several times and reach 1 million/µkl (normal amount 150-350 thousand/µkl), i.e. within the first 7 days.

PRP treatment is recommended:

  • For restoration of skin humidity, to improve flexibility and colour, and to reduce wrinkles (plazmolifting)
  • To reduce of acne-scars and pigmentation-induced skin damage
  • To improve skin healing processes following different skin renewal procedures (semi deep chemical exfoliation, laser surgery, fractionated radio frequency, etc.)
  • For advancing and strengthening of head hair growth - following pregnancy, androgenic alopecia, for both women and men
  • For the reduction of dark circles under the eyes
